BMW Motorrad GS Trophy marshals are more than just expert riders; they are guardians of the welfare of the participants. Not everyone has the right qualities to become a marshal, but the ones who make the grade become true ambassadors for the brand and are highly respected across the globe.
TRAINING
LEVEL 1
You will learn the foundations of riding a big adventure motorcycle on off-road terrain. With the introduction of bike systems and functions, including correct riding position, You can ride through the obstacle during daily riding.
LEVEL 2
This course will add more details from Level 1. Practising or exercising requires more skills to pass. Riders will experience riding in the actual off-road terrain and learn to overcome obstacles while riding on a big adventure motorcycle.
LEVEL 3
To be ready for a challenging adventure trip on an actual mountain trail with experienced instructors. Riders will encounter obstacles on the trail and help each other solve the problems.
SHAHNAWAZ KARIM
Shahnawaz Karim is a BMW Motorrad IIA-certified Enduro Motorcycle riding trainer based in Vancouver, BC and New Delhi & Hyderabad, India.
Shahnawaz has been a marshal for the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy in New Zealand (2020), Albania (2022) and Namibia (2024).
Shahnawaz has trained over 3500 + participants across India, North America, and Europe and has been the face of the BMW R1300 GS.
Shahnawaz has travelled to over 35 countries and provides Big Adventure Motorcycle Training across North America, Asia and Europe.
